DA1984
Anyone heard the new JL Audio subs for home theater application? To me their mobile subs rule, is that also the case with their home subs?

I have a couple of JA Audio subs for cars, and I do agree they are nice.
Frzninvt
There are some photos in the Powered Subwoofer section of this forum. They look interesting, they use the W7 drivers. Not all the JL Audio subs were good, it was not until they started making the W6 and W3's did there quality get better, and the W7's are in another league. In the beginning there subs were more hype and advertising than actual performance but that was in the mid 90's.
Sanman023
i agree with frzninvt....i remember that the quality sucked back then compared to boston acoustics and rockford fosgates....
tunemanjjw
I love the JL mobile stuff, particularly w6v2 and w7. I expect their home subwoofers will bring us someplace new. Their engineering is ridiculous. When you're on top of your fundamental game, it's easy to translate success. Get hype.
