justin_tx_16
Christopher Reeves Dies Associated Press One of his doctors says Christopher Reeve taught him two four-letter words: cure and hope. Doctor Wise Young says he's "heartbroken" at the news of Reeve's death. Young says Reeve had an appointment to meet with him Sunday to get an update on the latest spinal cord injury research. He says Reeve would be sad to miss out on the final weeks of the presidential race, which has included debate on stem-cell research that experts say could help people with spinal cord injuries to walk again. Another of his doctors, Raymond Onders, says Reeve realized his life expectancy was limited because of his severe injuries. But Onders says Reeve always tried to do everything he could to keep going. thebes
A real shame. He was a "Super Man" when it came to advancing medical research on spinal injuries. Years from now when progress is made in this area his name will still be mentioned for the work he did, not as an actor, but as a advocate. Grateful11
Christopher you'll always be Superman to me, in life and on the screen. He was a very courageous person. We have lost one of the great ones. Rest In Peace. Grateful
