Rsoxfan
I was nervous with Fedex shipping them. Now I find out that they got sent out UPS, even worse in my eyes
Cal Blacksmith
Neither is all that great. I have had bad luck with both. When I picked up my Fortes in person (you will love yours!) I had them in the back seat of my car for a safe trip home. I parked out in front of my house until I could unload them. In the time between I got home and my wife left for choir practice, (about 20 min) my neighbor took off like a race car driver and slammed into my car, pushing it 10 feet sideways, 20 feet backwards and through a chain link fence! YES REMBER MY SPEAKERS WERE INSIDE! They were not packaged in any way, just setting on the back seat. They came through the ordeal with only a torn grill cloth and a few chips in the wood. If yours are packaged at all well, they should come through with flying colors. ENJOY
Rsoxfan
I don't know if that makes me feel any better, but I do know you lucked out in the ordeal if the speakers only got minor cuts and bruises.I'm hopefull that mine won't suffer the same fate as yours did. Thanks for the encouraging words
JCturboT
Now we have to convince mmsiman not to run these off a mass-marketed receiver to get the best sound (say an Onkyo TX-8511) Jeff
