Looking for a brand-new turntable?

The rubber bits might actually be OK since they've been kept in plastic and in the dark for 40 years. But then again, maybe not!

I have taken apart my 124 more often than I care to admit and I agree that anyone nuts enought to actually BUY and USE this beast will need to spend the better part of a day cleaning and lubing.

I'll bet it sells for MORE than $1000.

I would say that that is a safe bet Allan. It is already close to $500 with over 9 days left.

I would not be surprised to see 1000 pounds sterling or more. Very hard to put a price on this - it may be unique. If a collector buys it my guess is that he wont be playing it anyway - he (or she) will keep it as it is for another 20 years or so...

Probably a sound investment (sorry - couldnt resist the pun).
