Magnitosh
I'm rebuilding some LaScalas. I'm not familiar with what they go for? Please help. I would like to buy a pair. Please contact me at: hadamullet@yahoo.com
psg
What year and conditions are they in? These are stock? Or fancy builds or rebuilds from Dean, Bob or Al? This info will help potential buyers...
ssh
psg, They are from different years in the 70s, but I don't know what years, & one LaS is under a 270 lb HDTV, so I won't know unless the forum member that sold them to me remembers. The top of the speakers is screwed down, and the crossovers look quite different. Condition is "original". If I were buying them,I would overhaul them. I offered them to a forum member for $75 as is. ssh
The previous post referred to the AAs. The AK2s are of about the same vintage, but the speakers were sequential serial numbers. SSH
BEC
I would be happy to rebuild those AAs on their way to the new owner. Bob Crites
ssh
Bob, They aren't sold when I offer them "as is", & the other party responds "if they are...undamaged", & "I trust they work because they were working & have been in your care." I cannot claim that they are in working condition. They were working when I replaced them with ALKs. Not knowing for certain that they will "plug and play", I think $75 was a reasonable asking price. I would expect to replace some parts due to age, whether they "work" now, or not. SSH
BEC
I also think the price is fair. I thought they were sold. I would like to purchase them from you. Bob Crites bobcrites@centurytel.net
