Istari
In order to save a few bucks and to get back into electronics repair I'm going to rebuilt a couple of H.H. Scott mono amps. I have the 99A and a 99C that I picked up off of Ebay. I also have a variac, a 667 tube tester and a fluke digital VOM that will aid me in my quest. Does anyone have the parts list and or schematics for these units? I'd like to be able to show my son that the old man can still handle a soldering iron and I think it'd be good to have him help out (after I've bleed the caps dry!). (I have looked at the H.H. Scott web site but they don't have the info there) Also along with the parts list do you have any recommendations on which manufacturer to choose from (solen, aura cap, etc?). Thanks for any and all help!!! After I've replaced everything and they still don't work I'll probally send them to Craig at NOS Valves!!! Guy Landau
You can find the schematic for the 99B and 99D here: http://hhscott.com/database/vhhs_00011.html They're probably very similar to the 99A & C.
Istari
Yes, I saw those but was hoping for the A & C versions. Not giving up hope yet! I have a Sams Photofact on the A coming but am attempting to get an actual schematic and parts list. Thanks for the help!
Guy Landau
The B & C should be similar except for the cosmetics.

Always check the value of components before you replace them. The Schematics can not be trusted. Craig
