SilverSport
One of the tweeters in my "new" 1978 Heresys looks different than the other. The "original" one has the Klipsch logo printed on it with K-77 and serial numbered...the other is also serial numbered but has brighter metal, and an ink stamped Klipsch with a big red ink stamped "R" on it...replacement, reject...run??? Thanks for any help. Bill Other than that...it looks like a brand new speaker, inside and out.

mikebse2a3
Hi Bill When I bought my Khorns used many years ago they had been updated with different crossovers and K55-M squawkers which had a "R" stamped on them. When I contacted Klipsch they told me that because replacement drivers carried a different warranty period they where marked with a "R" so they could identify them but otherwise same high quality drivers. mike
