SilverSport Posted January 26, 2005 Share Posted January 26, 2005 I vote Heresy...I had KG2s and liked them but the Heresy was a big move up for me...when I bought my KG2s, I didn't like the KG4s...not sure how much different the 4.2 is from the 4 but... The KG4 used dual 8" woofers, one large horn tweeter and a rear firing passive radiator. The KG4.2's Use one 10" woofer, 10" front firing passive radiator and a Tractrix horn tweeter. If compared side by side I think that you would find that the KG4.2's would exhibit more bass, but be lacking in midrange and high end detail compared to the Heresy. Even though the Heresy gets beat up by many for being lean on bass - I find it to be natural, fast and "punchy".
