2day
I have a pair of ALK Engineering crossovers (#6AB) that I purchased for my 1985 LaScalas that I never installed.I need $450.00 for the pair. If interested give me a shout. The LaScalas are also for sale for $1000.00. The cabinets arein excellent contition with factory varnish and cloth over the horns. They have the klipsch AL crossover network in them. The speakers are located in Bloomington Illinois and are too big to ship! Thanks
Woodog
I'm definitely interested if they will they work for Klipschorns. I don't have LaScalas. Thanks, Forrest
Daddy Dee
Woodog, Yep, just as good for Khorns as La Scalas.

(for all y'all* in the know, if this is a bad deal, please tell me, 'cuz I don't have a clue as to price). I mean no offense to you 2day, but I'm leary about sending $$ like that to someone who has only 1 post to your name even though you've apparently been around since 1999. I'm queasy like that! So how can we set this up? thanks, Forrest *I'm from Kentuky (note the spelling)... so I reserve the right to talk like that!
3dzapper
Grab 'em while you can Forrest. ALKs will greatly improve your enjoyment of your Khorns. With both the quality components and the ability to adjust the squaker's output to match your ears and your room. I have ALKs in my Khorns and LaScala. Gilbert
Ditto that on the ALKs. I love what they've done for my Cornwalls. Face it, Al makes quality stuff.
D-MAN
As to whether they are "good" or not, I own 2 pair of ALK's and a set of ES600's on the way, that's what I think of them, and that is also an indication of what I think of Al's work! New and unused ALK-A's go for over 5 big ones, so GRAB 'EM! You will be quite satified, I'm positive. DM
Woodog
Oh, I KNOW they are quality networks. You would have to be blind to miss the ravings about them. I just had no clue as to whether the price was good. Thanks for the replies. I'm gonna get 'em. Forrest
sfogg
DM, " I own 2 pair of ALK's and a set of ES600's on the way," What are you going to be doing with the ES600s? Shawn
D-MAN
Shawn, they are for my latest version corner horns, which the ALK's are "too low" for. Thought I'd keep the ALK's for a pair or two of La Scalas (when I get there).
2day
the ALK Crossovers are sold. Thanks
sfogg
DM, Cool, what are you going to be using for drivers and horns? Two way? The ES600s are sweet..... Shawn
D-MAN
Shawn, same 3-way setup as I had before, but I agree that the 2-way is eventually where I want to end up... DM
