boom3
I am considering the Samsung 30 inch HD series. If anyone has any experience with these please let me now. I have found a few opinions on the web and all are positive.
JJkizak
Samsung has a good rep. The longer you wait the lower the price. If you can hold off another year you will get the 60" for the same price. The market changes every week. JJK
IAmtnbikr
We have a 27" 4:3 HD Samsung monitor and love it. Since most content is not 16:9 we opted for the two monitors we got to both be the normal format, but can change the screen via the menu or component being fed to the TV. Actually it is somewhat funny that the OEM speakers in the smaller Samsung sound far better than the Panasonic 32" upstairs....thankfully we have found a better way to listen to both, lol! It is not hard for me to smile over the new sound of the Reference stuff I finally got. Once the prices drop our next monitors will likely be LCD displays instead of the CRT's. BobbyT
I have had a Samsung 30" crt for 2 years. I love it. Great picture quality. I hven't had any problems with it and it has a lot of inputs including 2 high def comp inputs. I bought mine before hdmi so there is no input for that but I think all of the newer models have it. The only thing you might want to consider is later this year Samsung is releaseing thinner crt TVs that will be about as deep as a dlp rear projection TV. Guest Anonymous
umm if you are buying the seiries from circuit city i would highly NOT reccomend it, check it out on a foot ball channel and look at the lines they will have curves liike a basketball, the colors are bad, and the corners are all over the place. I really truley hate that seiries from circuit city On the other hand the seiries above the ones at circuit city ie the ones at tweeter center etc are 1000 times better and i personalyl would back them and one of mu buddies has one and it looks great
