Colin
With my Dell linked by router to my old Premio PC, I had automatic back-ups from one HD to another. Plus, I had a CD to write to. When I moved, I backed-up solely to the CD. When my Dell fried, I lost about three weeks worth of work, because I was backing up only monthly! I am going to try the new drive in the old PC to see if it will recognize it, but even so, I would like a third option. I am considering a Maxtor 80GB one touch external USB drive to copy all data files for about $99 at Best Buy. So the question is: what are you using for low cost back-ups for your home PC? JJkizak
Multiple hard drives, internal or external. My external drives are SCSI 3. JJK
Colin
did get the external drive, seems like it is worth it, even if I upgrade to a better PC, I can still use it for BUs, faster than my older 12GB drive, can I boot off a USB drive?
