I thought some of the more technical aspects of the film (camera angles, lighting, etc...) were very well done and the acting was superb. Should it win an Oscar, the prize would be well deserved. I didn't see anything like that coming, anyway. For you sound buffs (what, on this forum?), the boxing scenes were very well done with lots of bass.
