Colin
Lets play twenty questions. Ill go first. Trey surveyed us about the height of our TV tops, the distance from our floors to our ears and the distance from our ears to our TVs. That brings up some logical follow-up questions for me which has nothing whatsoever to do with Klipsch and Co., but is just plain curiosity on this cats part. 1. How many feet long, wide and high is the area where you sit and listen or watch TV and/or music? 2. Is the area enclosed on all four sides, or is it part of another area? 3. If so, what areas or rooms does the larger area include? 4. If so, how many feet long, wide and high is the larger area, which encompasses your listening area? 5. What is the approximate total square footage of your primary residence under air conditioning? 6. What percent does your listening or HT area represent of that total square footage? Example My listening area 1. My listening area is a carpeted 14 by 17 living room with popcorn painted 8 ceilings. (238 square feet, 1904 in volume). 2. The family room opens to the kitchen behind with a doorway and a pass-though window. It also opens to an enclosed porch with two sliding glass doors at the back of the room. The larger area includes the kitchen and porch, but they both open to a dining room (in a quad arrangement). 3. So the total area is 743 sq. feet. 4. The approximate total square footage of my residence under air conditioning is 1700. 5. So the family room is about 14% (238/1700) of the house, while the total listening area is 43% ------------------ big old Cornwalls, Bottlehead 2A3 Paramour tube amps, Dynaco series II tube pre-amp, Rotel CD player, KSW200 & LF10 subs

Jim Cornell
I hear you MAC! Cornwalls are for a 480 square foot room, per pair!! I have to sets in a 16X16 foot room!! Sitting, im only 8 and a half feet away from one pair, the other pair i setup behind me!! Kind hilarious, i normally would only need quintets for this room size I still am going to get some K-Horns for the hell of it, just to have them!! Thats it, just to have them!!! School starting soon, so i cut down to 1 pair of cornwalls, most of the time, im ganna setup a H/T, i have the reciever here, havent touched it yet, also i picked up 2 UTAH speakers, with hornloaded tweeters, both for center, untill i get a better center!!
