jacksonbart
'Derek and the Dominos Live At The Filmore' I brought this a while ago and pulled it out for a listen. I completely forgot what an amazing performance the two CDs capture. Its from a concert recorded back in Oct 1970 from two shows. If you a Clapton fan or just into blues/rock I would highly recommend it. His guitar was so much more raw and unpredictable than it is today, its like a completely different person. When you listen to the concert its hard to believe that there are only 4 guys on stage and he is the only one playing guitar. The recoding has been digitally mastered in 1993, the sound stage is great, but the dynamic are of a 70s recording as opposed to say One More Car One More Rider. Would highly recomend it. The 18 minute version of 'Let it Rain' is incredible.
delano
Wow, what a coincidence. I just bought that on cd today. I just finished listening to it and decided to check out the forum. Let it Rain kicks. Delano
lovedrummin
I have this on a Mobile Fidelity set. It's an awesome concert recording. Sounds like everyone is at the top of their game. "Let It Rain" is also my favorite on this one.
