Bill Mazz
I am thinking about upgrading my center channel from a KV-2 to an SC-1. My goal is to get clearer dialog at the lower volumes I have to use when the kids are asleep. My system consists of SB-2's for mains and SB-1's for surrounds which I have both set to small. My Yamaha receiver sends all frequencies below 90 to my subwoofer. Does anyone have any experience with these two center speakers? P.S. Is there a significant difference between the SC-1 and the SC-1B?
dougdrake2
I've never heard of a SC-1B ??? The SC-1 is the designated match for the Synergy speakers you have, so it should give you better performance, as a whole system, than the KV-2. erdric
I believe that the B in SC-1B stands for Black, the color of the speaker. ------------------ Primary System: Main KG-4 Center KV-3 Rear RS-3 Yamaha HTR-5250 Sony DVP-S560D Panasonic PV-9664 Sony DBS system Studio: Main KG-3 Sony STR-AV920 Pioneer PD-4351
Bill Mazz
Thanks Erdric, that's probably it. I had thought there had been a model change because Sound Advice, the local Klipsch retailer, recently began advertising the speaker as a new model with a list price of $250 instead of the $280 in the Klipsch web site and the speaker as been around for a year.
