dougdrake
I can recommend Audio Alternative in Phoenix, AZ. Either Steve or Richard there will work with you. You can feel comfortable buying virtually anything from them, sight unseen. I've bought, in the last year, a Denon DVD-3000, KV-3, and a pair of Forte's and all have been in terrific shape. Someone else on this board bought a pair of Belle's and had them shipped to the Southeast US, sight unseen, and he was delighted. They get a real mix of stuff there (they even have some old Bose speakers in there now!?!) - I know they have some Mac, Bob Carver, Sony ES, Denon, etc...plus other items. Call them at (602) 957-1332. I don't think they maintain a web site.

RossVTaylor
gto6, If you ever do need something checked out (in person) at Audio Alternative, email either Doug or myself. We're always looking for a good excuse to go in there, anyways! Ross
gto6
Thanks guys, I've been stumbling around as many used shops and sites as I come across looking for some tubed mono blocks for under 1300.00......so many have been modified, its hard to settle on something reputable and clean. joemcten
I must agree with Al. I have been buying from my friend Mike at Audio Classics for years. He has great product, good demo period, and a liberal trade back policy. I havae had just about one of everything from him over the last 6 years. This place has been in business forever. They must be doing something right. There toll free number is 1-800-321-2834 est. Tell Mike I said hi. Joe
