Colin Posted September 3, 2001 Share Posted September 3, 2001 I loved it and went to see it twice - The animals are great and it is almost as good as the first - no surprises but the sounds are great - the airplanes amazing, the accident incredible - it is a roller coaster ride and I do not understand the reviews - much better than Planet of the Apes and I look forward to the sequel - Sam Elliot shines, how ironic that this fine actor has found himself a franchise as a quiet everyman, but then the great Anthony Hopkins is Hannible Lechter ... see it in the theater and you will learn much about how movies can do what no HT can and why the HT systems we are being sold have so little to do with quality sound and so much do to with quantitiy of noise ... ------------------ big old horns, tube amps, tube pre-amp, British CD player, two subs, double wire, pipe insulation, paving stones, rubber mats & curtains Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's a repeat of the first (almost) but with the same irritating concept of a 'amazing' discovery that was already explored in the first JP (and also the book) When the Raptor went calling and all and Sam went 'They are communicating' - like WOW ? Hello, he said the same deal in the first movie, how Raptors hunt in pack and they can communicate and 'SET traps'. To me, it the same movie, different actors.
