miamagsdad
A co worker is selling one in good condition for $275. Is this a good deal?
fastlane
Pretty fair deal. I believe it was over $500 new. Here is a link to reviews: http://audioreview.com/speakers/subwoofers/Velodyne%20Acoustics,CT-150/PRD_120747_2741crx.aspx#reviews For what its worth, I found a used Velodyne VLF-1012 at a price I couldn't resist. I still use it and have not had the urge to upgrade further.
Vettemanfrom1973
It's good. I bought the cht-15 (newer model) for $400 (used). Its no RSW15 but it is a good bang for the buck.
edwinr
The CT150 is a good sub, but only for larger rooms. High output, but comparing the actually bass quality to say, a Klipsch RSW12 - no comparison. While the CT150 goes a little louder, the RSW12 has much tighter, more musical bass. I think the CT150, and the CHT15, both tend to drone a bit. In Australia the CHT15 is priced only a little cheaper than the RSW12. I know which one I'd have in a flash. For $275 though. It sounds like a good buy. When you wish to upgrade to a Klipsch sub, you should get your money back.
