JewishAMerPrince
If you can wait one day, my Shanling should arrive tomorrow and I'll give you a comparo with the Jolida that left last week! Jerry Rappaport
jwc
Yes, I have asked of the comparison many moons ago. Not many people on this forum have even heard of the shanling products. Anyway, I would love to hear what you think of the Shanling and what mods did you get if any. jc

I like the fact that few have heard of Shanling, then again I like exclusivity, to a degree. As for the sound, it's far too early to make any comments. It needs some run in time, which it is getting as I write this. I've chosen to go stock for the time being. I'll probably do some tube rolling next week, and somewhere down the road decide if bocu $$$$ worth of mods are really necessary. JR
JewishAMerPrince
Ok, she's had about 5 hours run in and is starting to open up quite a bit. I'm listening primarily on the tube analog output and the thought that comes to mind is that the sound is extremely well balanced. Not too warm, not too bright...just...well...musical!
