hooting_monkey
Now I know how to corner load and all, but for obsession's sake, what are the ideal distances from the walls?

The only distance would be to minimize vibrational buzzing. Therefore, in theory, the distance would be "0", or just a little more to minimize 'buzzing". hooting_monkey
Well I read an article about the K-Horn and saw that there was a minimum distance that the speaker should be from the corner for coloration reasons or something. It just got me thinking.
DrWho
The khorn is a different animal and needs to be pressed firmly into the corner...some guys around here even install gaskets on the back to ensure a solid air tight connection. The less air tight it gets, you get bigger and bigger dips in the frequency response at the low end and at the high end of the bin (so like 30Hz and 300Hz drops real quick). ricktate
The tailboard needs to be sealed to the wall and along the top part of bass bin would help to.Rick
