jksr2112
Where can I purchase a replacement horn for my cf- 2 floor speaker?
MrMcGoo
Call 1-800-Klipsch and ask for the parts Dept. The CF- was a short production run, so the parts may not be available. You will need to tell them whther you want the horn or a diaphragm kit for repair. Bill
jksr2112
Thank you .Do you know any web site that sells diaphrams for these horns. Thanks
MrMcGoo
Forum member BEC, Bob Crites installs kits, but his work is usually on Heritage speakers in continuous production for many, many years. I doubt that he has parts for a CF-2. BTW: Klipsch part prices are very reasonable IMO. eBay may have parts, just keep an eye out. The problem is that the consumer did not buy Epic series in large numbers, so production only lasted about two years versus nearly 60 years on the Khorn. Shiva
I have read from a post on audioasylum.com that the horn on the epics are the same horn as on the KLF series. I am not sure of the accuracy of that though.
T2K
The tweeter K-64-KN was used on both the CF-2 and KV-4. The CF-2 horn K-703 was also used on the KLF30 and KLF20. Keith
djk
The horn is the same, but the drivers are different. Order the correct replacement diaphragm from Klipsch. If unavailable contact me.
