Al Klappenberger
Guys, Here's a Teac A-L700P digital amp I would like to sell. It has been modified to take advantage of the fourth channel. It is now a four-channel amp. All channels have been tested and working. I am selling it because the tuner / preamp I had intended to use it with turned out to be unsatisfactory for several reasons. I paid $99 for it about a week ago. Make me an offer. Here's my mods to the Teac / Tripath amp. * New RCA input jack to the right of the other three. * New 8 terminal barrier block in place of 3 idiot posts. * Level pots and their circuit board gone. All four channels set to maximum gain. * Molex plug allows speaker wires to be disconnected to remove boards. Al K.

Daddy Dee
Al, Very cool. I like the idea of getting all four channels in service.
Al Klappenberger
Dean, Ok.. I am not in a big hurry to unload it, so I can stall that big mob outside my door a while for you! Al K.
Chris Robinson
Really nice amp. Glad Dean will take it off your hands ...
Al Klappenberger
Guys, If anybody is interested, here's the spectrum analyzer distortion measurements for the extra channel of the Teach amp. Note the distortion is EVEN order (like a vacuum tube amp). This may explain why people like the sound. SS amps are mostly ODD order distortion. The input signal was 1 Khz through a filter. The plot is on a 0-10 Khz scale. Al K.
Al Klappenberger
I have heard nothing from Dean. Anybody who want this amp, say so. AL K.
