KLF-20 speakers, is this a fair price to pay?

Recommended Posts

There are 2 pair for sale localy by the same original owner in excellent condition, 1 pair oak and 1 pair black. He wants $450 a pair or $800 for both. I have never listened to them and don't hear about them often. Any and all opinions are very much needed. I have been saving for a center channel heresy, is this a good enough deal to get derailed.

Thanks, Jack.

Sorry for not getting back sooner, long days at work. No I didn't get them, my own stupid fault. A friend of mine told me about klipsch speakers in the paper, I asked what was the description, he said " I don't remember it was some letters and numbers", I didn't bother to look any further, I was interested in heritage, especially a heresy for the center. Well another friend of mine (who I introduced to klipsch and now has Lascalas and is looking to split a pair of heresies) called me and told me about the klf-20's in the paper, he asked if I new anything about them. Here is where it gets STUPID. I said "I think they are something like a synergy series or an entry level speaker, I was online at the time and said "hold on let me take a look at the klipsch site". Well after reading, I immediatly felt stupid, so I get on the forum and ask if it's a fair price, after reading I am now scrambling to get in touch with the seller, finally I get him and he tells me they are sold. I feel the energy leave my body as I slump in the chair gazeing at my computer with the phone barely hanging in my hand as it slowly swings just inches above the floor

Hey Bro, I felt the same way.....almost.....you did at least have a much better shot at them than I did. The ad was in the June 23 Post Courier so they have probably been gone. Oh well, they made a ton of them, they'll always be more.

Hey, I grew up in Charleston, how's the no-seeums doin? We don't have them little bastards in Columbia. I guess I will be finding out soon, I'm doing a job at the foot of the old bridge, the Tides Condos, so I will be getting VERY acquainted with them I'm sure. As a matter of fact, the fire marshall has been giving us hell out there, you aren't in the Mt Pleasant FD are ya??? Maybe you can help us out2.gif

Peace Out

Ok here I go again feeling stupid. What's the no-seeums cause I haven't seenum. I've been in Charleston all my life and that's the first time I have heard that term. I'm sure when you tell me the DUH thing will happen.

I work for the City of Charleston F.D. I do know the MT. pleasant fire chief. MT. Pleasant has a pretty tight community and with their growth rate going thru the roof, they are probably being very strict about codes and enforcement, just to keep a handle on it. If you need additional info, pm me and I can get you names and numbers, you may even know the chief as he grew up on Johns Island.

Jack.

you know, those invisible gnats that bite the heck out of you!!! Hate Em.

I too grew up on Johns Island, but went to Bishop England HS. Small world. If you ever get to Columbia, I'll let you hear what an all Legend sys sounds like. I know many believe Heritage is much better, and it may be cuz I've never heard one, but Legends ROCK>
