had apair of the 8.5's very nice speaker . wanted the 10.5's could have gotten them new at sound advice a few years back for buy one get one free for 250 maybe 350 anyway its a damn fine speaker for the money

i bought a denon 3300 florr model 3 years ago and only had to download the manual,like he said before as long as you get all warrenties you should be alright

rebuilt my st-70 2 weeks ago, spent $65 for a reproduction driver board w/all new cap's and resistor's, $74 for an upgraded power supply, 80 bucks for new tubes and checked out and made sure all other resistors were up to grade. To me i now have one of the best sounding amp's i have owned to date.so for around $250 bucks you would have a very nice amp It put me where i want to be as far as amps go, now i want to play around with different sources and speakers[]

I have a pair of SILVERLINE,and a pair of ALPHA-CORE micropurls that cause my st-70 to generate a loud hum when i turn the preamp off first.but when i have a pair of MONSTER CABLE ic's in use there is no hum when i turn off the pre first?????[:|]

finished rebuild of a dynaco st-70 yesterday,and while testing bias for the umpteenth time just to make sure everything was o.k. happend to glance down at my D.V.M. and saw that the pos. end of the meter was lightly stuck into the carpet, while the neg. end was still attached to the amp and was reading a fluctuating current thru the my meter?splain this to me please?[8-|]
