Joe Auwen Posted July 6, 2005 Share Posted July 6, 2005 Just a heads up that someone is creating fraudulent auctions for MC30s (and a few other pieces of gear). I won an auction and noticed that another auction came on-line with a similar format, identical mis-spelling and same bad grammar. I did a search on the mis-spelled word (exelent) and found at least three other auctions that I reported as possible fraud. When I checked in the morning, they had been removed! I'm still waiting for an answer from the auction house on the one I won..! I believe it may have been by the same seller to which you refer, as I noticed both this and the other items had all 'disappeared' simultaneously (a polling error resulted in my monitoring software when they were suspended), ... but I was only interested in inquiring about the mc240. I received this note after their suspension in response to my intial query. But be my guest to respond! Sounds like quite a deal! By the way, if you always use www.escrow.com, you are even covered if you were crazy enough to pursue this deal! You would be fully protected, and the worst that could happen is you just might end up with a quality peice of gear!!! Three days later and I still haven't heard anything from epay except that I'm using the wrong reporting system.
