Arman
Hi all, I don't know if this is the proper place for this...but how much would a rebuilt Scott 299c in GREAT condition go for nowadays? Also, what about a Scott 99D in great condition? Thanks in advance!
Dylanl
Just my guess, but I would think at least 400 - 450. I think Craig would have the best handle on this question.
Audio Flynn
or much higher depending on tube complement, origonal wood case, and cleanliness. And who did the work on the refurb.
ben.
If it's been gone through and is really nice, I wouldn't be surprised to see one go for 8 or 9. Tube complement would greatly influence value as well.
TommyC
I recently passed on one that went for $780.00 with the cheapest tubes the guy could find for it. He was keeping the good ones for himself. It was in what I would call 7/10 condition otherwise.
NOSValves
Depends on where you sell it, how you advertise it and if you get lucky with a bidding war. I sell units like yours for about $650 to $750 freshly rebuilt with a warrantee when available. Yours has all new production tubes except the 7199 phase splitters and was just checked over, the rebuild is about 18 months old so there is no warrantee (I will fix it if it breaks but there will be a bench fee). Its really hard to say what one will go for but this is a tough time of the year for selling. Craig
