Kevmosmith
Transcendent Sound Grounded Grid. Line stage preamp. Stock, with the following upgrades - Grayhill volume attenuator and selector and upgraded tubes to Electro Harmonix 12au7's. Professionally built, dead quiet with absolutely no noises. An Incredibly musical and neutral preamp -truly a line with gain Near Mint (9 0f 10). This has been babied. Works perfectly low hours on tubes. See company website http://www.transcendentsound.com/, search the Klipsch forum and read the reviews. Kit Price is $499 and $799 assembled plus shipping. I am $450.00 firm, which includes shipping and insurance to lower 48. Here is a link to some reviews on the preamp. http://www.audioreview.com/cat/amplification/preamplifiers/transcendent-sound/PRD_118430_1591crx.aspx Check my feedback on Ebay kevmosmith First come, first served. dubai2000
Don't be fooled by the 'modest' price of the new unit, nor by its looks (internal/external). IMO this is really an outstanding product and for the price asked I wouldn't hesitate AT ALL. Wolfram
Daddy Dee
Kev, It's a kind courtesy to offer this fine preamplifier to forum members at a favorable (to the buyer) price.
Cal Blacksmith
If I was not already happy with my pre, or if I had the spare change, I would snap this pre up in a NY SECOND! That is a very good price for a complete unit, running properly! It was a serious contender in my thoughts for a Pre. Good luck and I hope someone jumps on this quick!! Kevmosmith
I feel the same way (obviously!). It's part of a second 2 channel system and we are working on a home theater system is the only reason for the sale. Kevin
