WMcD
During the great oil embargo there was a chemical distributor who left a tanker in a yard. Thieves stole it and eventually the contents got to a gas station and into customer automobiles. Automobiles of the customers started having problems. The seals in the fuel system started disolving. The tanker's content was xylene (or maybe toluene). The police put two and two together. There were some criminal prosecutions and the owner of the gas station had to pay for repairs.
