steve
how are the RF7s doing?? Are they everything you expected? Is the bass response etc. better in YOUR room then the KHorns were?? Would love to hear the results of your speaker swap after a couple of weeks of using them. Regards, Steve

Deang
Oh, he got them all right. I spent twenty minutes on the phone with him while he was modding the networks. He probably can't pull himself away. The RF-7 is like a black hole -- sucks you in and won't let go.
steve
well good! I'm sure he'll posts his findings when he's put some more time on 'em! As long as he's enjoying the music, that's all that matters!
rockbobmel
Sorry, I didn't see the post. Well, I'm not going into (nor do I know how to),a long winded report. I liked them before the mod, BUT, after, they just sweetened up. The top end calmed down considerably. I am now re listening to my CDs over. Dean really got this right. They were more of HT speakers before, but now, more musical. Definitely!! Thanks Dean........!! I also have been fooling around with separating them more apart and putting the spikes back on them. I'm going back and forth with the Arcam power amp to the Rotel. The Arcam has a sweeter top end, but less kick and bottom. The Rotel has more slam, but not as sophisticated. I will prolly be looking for a 200 watt power amp. AND Yes, the bass is more forward and tighter, and more pronounced (In my room).
