brennyE
tonight i will be going in to the local audio dealer to put some subwoofers to the test for my recently purchased 2-channel set-up. I am using a HK3480 and a pair of rf-15's. I was going to look into getting an rw-12 but my local dealer tells me that i should go with MK for the sub. thus leading to my question, has anyone had any experience with MK? Guest BobG
They've made good quality subs for quite a while. Go deep, not the last word in bass dynamics. Solid quality. I don't know why your dealer is suggesting something other than Klipsch but you'll have to listen for yourself to decide what's best for you as opposed to what's best for the dealer. dragonfyr
Well put!!...I had been wondering just how to describe the M&K, but hadn't worked it out without rambling on and on like I am doing here! Good all around advice!

Price for price, i don't think the MK has any advantage...
sunburnwilly
I have had an M&K V-125 for about a year and a half . It worked realy well with my Hereseys . It's a bit overwhelmed by my Belles . Quality product , less boomy than the Klipsch subs , and dissapears well in the room . I will probably be looking to step up to the MX -350 . Nothing against the Klipsch subs , I just prefer the way the M&K's sound . I would like to test drive some of the higher end Velodyne subs though .
