The most i want to spend is 3-400. Any recommendation would be great! Thanks, Joe

Daddy Dee
Erukian, A Merlin is above your price range, but it does sound fabulous driving the teac.
dbflash
Merlin. I have never heard one, but I do like my Peach. Another option would be a Creek. Again I have never heard one, but for awhile alot of people were really hot for this Passive pre. Do a search under 2 channel for Creek. http://hcmaudio.com/comp.asp?compID=128 You cannot go wrong with Juicy Music. Danny
Finthen
Looking for something to mold well with my teac (I love the damn thing, best value i've ever bought into). The most i want to spend is 3-400. Any recommendation would be great! Thanks, Joe I'm going to give a Foreplay2 , which I just bought today a shot at adding a bit of air and euphonous to my pair of Teacs. In keeping with the low cost vs. benefit it should match well; As always, we only know by experience in my room(11X17) with my speakers (RB-3) Amplifier Teac 30A. source being Sirius by DishNetwork with Monster Cable interconnects. I have great hopes of taking a bit of shimmer and some of the harshness of of the high freqs. which only show up on some recordings and types of music IE. complex rock recordings without losing the detail which the Klipsch do deliver . I imagine this is a constant battle at any price point but specifically the double edge sword of our choice being horns and all other components in the chain. I will post a listening followup once the Foreplay arrives for general ponderable digestion and discussion.
Erukian
Is there a reason their so expensive? Just wondering -- they seem like pretty simple devices... -Joe
