Bill H.
Well, with a Freq of 75-20 and sensitivity of 85db, I'll stick with KLIPSCH! My RB 35's have a better rating.........IMO.rb 35'S 45Hz-20kHz ±3dB POWER HANDLING:125 w max continuous (500 w peak) SENSITIVITY:96dB @ 2.83 volts/1 meter
TheEAR
First HSU came with thier own micro speakers and now...SVS. Big fat deal,I will not buy HSU or SVS sat speakers.I have much superior Dynaudio Contour when I want non horn loaded goodness. HSU and SVS are about subwoofers and they do not have anything worthy of my Dynes. [] Just another way to milk the cash cow.

kenratboy
For $1000 (price of the SVS 5.1 system), you could get: -SUB-10 (from what I have heard, gives the 10" SVS a run for the money) $400 -B-2 (5.25" woofer) $230 X 2 -C-3 (dual 4" woofers) $180 $1,040 and you can get ~10% off with coupons or sales, so same price. I bet the SVS will be wonderful, but a system like I described would certainly be something to beat for the money. I can tell you which one would get louder with a $300 receiver... (Trey, if you lock this, that means you hate America [] ) I love Klipsch and SVS, but just keeping it fair for a Klipsch forum. The Synergy line does not seem like a 'bargain' - until you get it home and start to listen. I sell a lot of expensive boutique speakers, and my F-3's would put them to shame, even ones that cost 3X as much and more.
007
ya, the synergy's are a stick deal.. svs is not gonna be able to match that.
jt1stcav
You'd think SVS and Hsu would learn from Velodyne's satellite mistake years ago. Then again, who knows...they just might get it right and succeed at complete sub/satellite systems unlike Velodyne's unremarkable attempt. We'll see soon enough, I reckon.
