marcb515
I've decided to keep my Cerwin Vega's until a nice pair of Forte's come along. I was looking at the RC25, or the JBL Northridge EC35, but I see one of the orum members is selling a KV-3. TheKV-3 looks like it has better frequency response. What do you guys think about the KV-3 with my system, as compared to the RC25 or EC35? I know i'm asking alot of questions, and I really appreciate the help. ironwoods
Hi, I run a KV-3 with Heresy II's and it works pretty well, so I'd imagine it'll blend in with Forte's too. Another Heresy would probably be best, but I think that looks goofy as hell. Doesn't CV [6] make centers?
IndyKlipschFan
I use the KV-3 in an upstairs bedroom system. I have the luxury of a EQ for the center speaker and you know the KV-3 does a great job! Is it a Ref series 7 equal....no.. But it wasn't designed to be. I think you would be more than happy with this in your set up with the Fortes. They do pop up on here and on ebay too. If you do not like it, I am sure someone else will. The KV3 is heavy, made out of real wood I think.. and front ported so it can go on a bookshelf.. it also has a tilt feature so you can aim it too.. Yesfan70
What about an Academy? I see them on Ebay from time to time too. I always thought that was the best speakers for the Fortes, Chorus, etc.
