edwinr
His new 'retrospective' album is due out 1 November with some CCR and several solo tracks plus 4 new tracks - called 'A Long Road Home'. I can't wait for his brand new album due out on Fantasy Records early 2006.
Steve_L
I saw him this summer at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield Massachusetts. He was the "opening act" for Mellencamp. It should have been the other way around. But I guess Mellencamp has "the babe factor"... I've never seen so many 40 something females gets so hot all at the same time. LOL! I never looked at Mellencamp as being anything but a short midwestern pop star. Anyway, Fogerty is one of those guys that is getting better as he gets older. The Tweeter Center had them both over amplified to the point where the detail of the music gets lost in the volume, but Fogerty was still a standout guitarist. Mellencamp surrounded himself with young outstanding musicians that were technically superb, but lacked "soul". Good for John Fogerty, he deserves some good things to happen in his career. I loved his new protest song. Feels like dejavu to me too.
wheelman
Edwin thanks for the info. Fogerty is a legend, and I can't wait for the new one.
JJkizak
He has the "nack" for writing good songs. And he can actually play the guitar too. He will be good for Rock & Roll that doesn't drive me up the "puberic" wall. JJK
