mdbrien
I have a pair of LaScalas (2 channel stereo) and I would like to know if I would be MUCH better off with the KW-120-THX dual Subs or just going with one RSW-15. Thanks,
michael hurd
Jeez... an answer is kind of hard to pin down for that type of question. Are you looking for output to 20 hz, or will 30 hz be fine? What sort of music/source/room do you have? Budget? Etc, etc.
mdbrien
Basically I would like to know if there would be MUCH difference with the Dual KW-120-THX Subs than the RSW-15 Sub. Budget is not a big factor, but if there's not a big difference I would like to save some money and just get the RSW-15 Sub. My room size is 20' x 20' and I listen to Rock-N-Roll, Jazz, Country, Oldies and Rhythm and Blues.
tidmack
Sounds like a question that Ear just answered for me in an email. . .I'll report back when I get my Ultras hooked up. Jeff
IndyKlipschFan
The two subs in this case next to the La Scalas will help balance out the lows missed for HT. The amp, also with it's many controls, also helps to maximise your room better as well, IMO. I have it between three La Scalas up front, in a dediacted HT room.. I could not be happier.. Remember this is an amp and sub compbination match. You can always start with the amp and one sub.. In the case of La Scalas.. 2 subs with the one amp is just Nirvanna. bookman
I recently purchased a KT-SW THX on E-Bay. The quality is first rate. powerful and tight, especially with music. I would recommend the THX line.
DrWho
wow, going with the Ultra 2's is a no brainer! If nothing else, the seperate amplifier is far more versatile, which allows for much better integration into the rest of the system. FWIW, klipsch uses the Ultra 2's when they demo the lascalas.
