I think I made a mistake with my 299B

I think too few people know how good the old Scotts really sound. They spend much more on lesser new equipment.

A guy can pick up a properly rebuilt Scott for say $700, and a pair of Cornwalls for say $800. For $1500 that is one great sounding system. (Edit: O.K, so I forgot the source. Find a Toshiba 3950 at the local pawn shop for about 40 bucks).

Brett, about those Western Electric 300Bs..feel like passing your extreme good fortune around and selling me a pair for a decent price i.e. you make a tidy profit, and I don't pay the usual high price thes things are commanding??
