earthaziel
I don't suppose anyone on the forum lives somewhere around Grand Rapids, MI and has a set of Lascalas. I am not looking to buy them, but frankly I would like to hear them. I work for Best Buy, but that is more out of necessity then for love of what they sell. (although you haven't lived until you have gotten the chance to break someone out of the "bbbbbboooooooossssssseeeee" trance most people are in when they walk in the door). Frankly I don't think I will ever get a chance to own such an amazing pair of speakers and was hoping to atleast have a moment of heaven. Oh and I would bring the pizza :-)
Daddy Dee
earthaziel, welcome to the forum. I'd imagine there are some Michigan folk in your neighborhood who'd be glad to demo their scalas for you. Especially if you bring the pizza! colterphoto1
Not in Michigan, but if you're ever near Indianapolis and would like to hear LaScalas, Cornwalls, Heresies and some other goodies, drop me a line. Thanks for trying to educate the masses. Tough job. Michael
dkp
earthaziel, Welcome to the forum. I have been here for a couple of years now and have really enjoyed myself. I have made a few new friends and learned an awful lot about this great hobby of ours. Hang around for a while and you too will find that you need to check in every day to see what's new. I live in Davison, which is about 10 miles East of Flint. I happen to have a pair of really nice LaScalas for sale right now. Check the 2-channel section of this forum for a post with some pics. (Title: FS: 1977 LaScalas with AL-3 networks) It's probably on the 3rd page by now. Send me a PM or e-mail and maybe we can figure something out. colterphoto1
I brought em up top for you guys, so they're page one now. Nice set of LS there dkp, especially with the fresh paint, new K33's and AL3 networks, they should bring $900. Did you get any feedback on the ad at all? Cornwalled
Hey Guys! I am in the same boat as Earthaziel. I live in Pennsylvania, and would be really interested in hearing LaScalas, as I am pondering purchasing a set of Heritage after the business and commotion of Christmas is past us. It would be either Corns (which I own) or LaScalas. K-horns are out of the picture financially, unless some really freak incident comes up where they're ridiculously cheap. I'm about 2 miles away from New Jersey. Is there anyone in the area that would be willing to let me in their house for a spell to hear some L/S? I'll bring the food! -Jon

Michael No replies from the Klipsch forum yet. I've still got them in our dining room and need to take a few more pics before they go on Ebay. They're not perfect, but they look awesome. You don't need another pair of Scalas, do you??? []
