TommyK
Strange question, but does anyone have any ideas where else Heritage Klipsch is a big seller? Is there a big Cornwall following in Finnland, but not so much in Eastonia? Is Hope busy shipping K'horns to New Zealand, but only sells a pair a decade in Korea? Is the Cult of the Belle strong in Turkey but nary a Heresy in Romania? (Has anyone thought of doing a google map of the members here?) Thanks in advance, TommyK
MrMcGoo
Klipsch enjoys an excellent reputation overseas. However, exact sales are only known by Klipsch. In a recent couple of threads, there were major Klipsch exhibits in European shows. Klipsch is VERY expensive outside of north America, yet it sells respectable amounts around the world. For example, a new Khorn pair may sell for more that $15,000 MSRP in Europe. Bill
colterphoto1
The older Heritage stuff sells pretty well here in Central Indiana, thanks to Indy and Me!
WMcD
I note that Japan and England are populated with horn appreciators. It may be that those are countries where there was a thriving hi fi interest in the early days. So horns are not "rediscovered" quite as much as remembered. Germany should fit in that description too. There was a variation on the K-Horn, called the Eck ('corner") horn out of Switzerland. 3dzapper
Tommy, Down in the General Forum there is a sticky with a Frappr map started. If you go to the satilitte image of Indy, you can see the LaScalas overflowing from CP1's garage.-) Rick
