Kriton
Hey, I guess now is the time to start collecting the matching components for these RF-7's. I want to start with an RC-7, black, local hopefully - decent price a must - used or new. Let me know if anyone comes accross a good deal. Thanks, Bruce
Speedball
Keep an eye on www.audiogon.com and even some other forums have "For Sale" areas.
m00n
I don't have any for sale, but I will say great choice. RC7s are overlooked because they are supposed to be a center channel. I use them for my surrounds and love them. Match up 2 RC7s with a small sub like the RSW-12 and you have one hell of a 2 channel setup. Just my opinion of couse. Kriton
Thanks for the replies. I am really not in the position to buy any more speakers or audio crap (as I have dropped a nickle or two this year on this stuff), but I have been offered a gift by a client and it might as well be something like an RC-7! I just have to tell him what to pay for it, and I am trying to be nice and get a used one...I am a sap. Well my RF-7's were gifts too, so I guess I am on a roll. Anyways, I usually check with audiogon frequently, but to be honest, I just haven't gotten a warm fuzzie from some of the listers on that site. When I was looking for amps, I made a few inquiries as to the cosmetic condition etc., and the repsonse I got was rude as hell. Just didn't know what to think; figured I could place my ad here and trust ya'll a lot more than some nameless faceless on audiogon. I like the center i have now, but to be honest, it is just not up for the challenge of running with the RF-7 fronts...when I run the test tones for the 7 channel, the sound difference between the 7's and the KSP-C6 is really something else. THey both sound good, but very very different, and if they are going to start phasing out the Reference line as we know it, I want to get while the getting is good... So come on now, somebody must have a friend of a friend who knows someone's grandma who has a sister who gets a good discount...
