somebody better have a excellent, legally defendable reason for searching Me .....

they should have given the Issue very careful consideration ....

and have some Big friends along, too ...[8o|]

sorry but Terry v. Ohio (1968) upheld stp and frisk of suspects

on streets when reasonable suspicion (more likely than not 51/100) they

are armed or involved in criminal activity.

Minnesota v Dickerson (1993) if a officer feels something

suspicious immediatedly reconizable as a weapon or contraband the item

may be seized without a warrant

heh this is what 16000 dollars worth of tuition taught me....

If you're looking for autos shoot me a PM. I know a good place.

i gotta say ... my SOG flash, probably can't be told from an "auto"

the difference is, you "start" the opening, then the spring takes over

and its LEGAL

duke, i need something that can hold a damn good edge and won't break at the hinge on me. to be honest i've never heard of SOG, but then again, i'm not really into knives.

benchmade's reputation and the whole free sharpening for life if you send them the knife (just pay shipping) is what caught my attention.

oh, and shade.. i sent ya a pm [;)]

Those assisted openers are pretty cool. Got a 2" Kershaw with that from a friend as a birthday gift.

Geez. Name a topic on here and you'll find a dozen or so experts. Knives? Why not?

I've

met Shade and he's the last guy I'd expect to be into knives although

if I were walking through a dark alley, I'd want him on my

side![H]

Gary, I've actually been collecting knives, swords, etc. since I was a kid. It's my other expensive hobby [:)]

Heres a pic of of one of them. Semi-custom wave katana from Bugei.

BTW, I never got around to posting pics of that Sinatra 78 after I got

it framed. I'll have to do that tomorrow, it turned out really well.

that looks like a great katana! But I am no expert but have read up on

how they make quality katanas, not the chinese made one piece steel, I

read that katanas are actually folded? having two metals that are

folded to give strength and softness. I wish oh I wish I had a great

job after college to buy all these nice things
