Corvette6769 Posted January 9, 2006 Share Posted January 9, 2006 I understand that room volume, geometry, and speaker placement have a huge effect on actual frequency response (especially the low end) and the published frequency response curves often differ considerably from the response curves measured under ideal conditions in an anechoic chamber, but I seem to remember seeing a graph Klipsch published showing response curves plotted for the Heritage line, but damn if I can locate it again. pauln Posted January 9, 2006 Share Posted January 9, 2006 Its not your eyes, this is what digital does to the source.[6] The vertical SPL labels for the KHorn, LS, and Belle are -20db, -10db, 0dB, +10dB, and +20dB, The horizontal frequency labels are 0, 50 100, 200, 500, 1K, 2K, 5K, 10K, 20K. I had 2 points, 1 there are a lot of variables to any meaurements and, 2 to show a "realistic' set of measurements in a real environment. Not quite as rosy, especially at the top and bottom, as the sanitized version but they do sound great.
