steamer
I heard my first Klipsch at a local audio salon back in 78'. They were Cornwalls, signals provided by Yamaha,no cookie cutter stuff back then.WOW hooked forever. My first system was a Yamaha component system purchased in 1986(definately cookie material) after I got out of the Navy.In 87'I went to buy some Cornwalls but they were no longer in production.BUMMER...so what did I do I went with the LaScala's,oh yea! Note: Cookie Cutter gear is mass produced to a price point that the general public just loves to buy.If you had to make 1000 cookies in 1 hr you would roll it out and stamp the hell out them with a cookie cutter and then take what is left and do the same again,Kind of like a production line with the only objective being quantity NOT quality.
