jcmusic
I need help, I am trying to decide how to transport my new k-horns. If I take off the tops how tall would the k-horn be in inches? Jay.
bhendrix
The bass bin, standing upright, is 38.5" tall. Laying on its face, toe-kick to tail board, is about 24".
jcmusic
Do I have to disconect any wires to take the tops off?
bhendrix
Just the pair from the woofer bin to the crossover. Two screws and you're done.

DizRotus
The side grilles are easily removable also.
JBryan
Just for the record... I just moved a pair of Khorns for a friend and they will actually fit in the back of a Toyota RAV4. The Bass bins were placed upright behind the seats facing each other and the tops easily fit behind them at a slight angle and the grills were placed in available spaces along the sides of the cabin. I was also able to fit a Marantz amp, preamp and tuner (a big 10b!) as well as about 200 records scattered about in whatever space was left. Blankets and foam were strategically placed and all everything arrived without a scratch a hour up the road from DC. We did have to leave a Teac reel-to-reel behind though - there are limits I guess.
