ColonialHoo
To All - I have been lurking for quite a while, reading and learning. I registered a few weeks ago to put my 2 cents worth in on a few threads. I am planning on putting together a 2-channel system for my finished basement, abt 13 x 17 with an open end (full cased opening) in the rear. In reading some of the threads, I figured this space would be too small for KHorns, so I have been researching Corns and Heresys. Right now I am running my old KG2s (I bought them new in '86). However, and this is where I need you all to chime in with opinions, I have recently come across a local pair of KHorns (1975 WL, sequential, in excellent shape) for a really good price. Is this something I should jump on (I would need to act soon), or am I trying to shoehorn my dream speakers into a space too small for them? Thanks in advance for your input. I really appreciate it. capo72
Local and really good price, are the key words here. Buy them now, and deal with the room and placement issues later. Local Khorns for a really good price just don't happen that often in my neck of the woods. Good luck. Jeremy

pierceb
I agree, if the price is good and they are local, then jump on them. You can try them out, and if they don't work for you, you can easily recover your money. -PB
gaspr
If you have got good corners in your room, by all means get the Khorns and try them out. I have mine in a relatively small room (but with a very high ceiling) and I think they sound great. Go get em!! Garth
