Two reasons: ========== 1) Literally, it would require a chain saw, and NOBODY is that dumb and still breathes on their own. 2) all of the unused an un-necessary bass horn parts would have to be removed, or all that "dead" wood only makes the cabinets extra heavy to move. Why not just make a new box, since that is all that is needed? Both of the above reasons adds up to the fact that the person doing said supposed modifications is totally brain-dead and is clearly - dangerously stupid - to the point of harming themselves or others. Who would purposely go as far as to publicly advertise that undeniable fact? That they were once actually LS's is, as PWK would say, "BS".
