Jay481985
rw12 woofer cones?
TheEAR
Thanks for the link Jay,interesting. TC SOunds makes some of the best high displacement woofers in the world. Aerial,SVS,Sunfire,Krell and a few others use thier woofers. They move serious air. []
Jay481985
I know tc sounds is probably the best unknown subwoofer company as they are more oem towards specs and bulk sales. If you buy 100 speakers they will build toward specs svs of late is builting their own subs or moving toward that way. krell i believe used the he15 subwoofer.... Its been a long time since i drooled over the mrs soo i forgot alot of the specs etc. I do know that the tumult will out excursion the mrs subwoofer though. But seriously that cone looks like rw 12 cone, too small for a 15 inch but the rsw has a beefier surround. not the new rt10d or rt12d as those surrounds have a more pronounced non round surround, more triangular. formica
Not surprising given that the Klipsch engineer who designed the RSW series knew the owner of TC sounds pretty well. Some of you may also notice a coupe of "Aura" style neodymium magnet motors in that link...
CECAA850
I think I saw some SoundSplinter drivers also.
autocrosser
The name's Tim [] and your welcome. I didn't actually take the pictures... I was looking for car audio applications for a TC Sounds sub - turns out they have a pretty big car audio following too.
Jay481985
svs?? Is it true!!! the he15 by deon? They said it would come out sooner or later, I guess they are in production. I think it is!!! silly soundsplinter quad stack....
OneTwoMany
Those particular cones are for another company.
OneTwoMany
I dont think that is an HE15, that's a 4HP motor with an 18" frame. The same motor is also used in the Eclipse Ti Pro drivers. The driver is almsot 70lbs and can take ~3,000 to ~5,000 RMS watts no problem.

TheEAR
The woofer with the red colored cast basket, now we are talking. Companies should not be afraid and offer subs using these beasts in multiples. []
CAS
The SVS TV-12 is visible in a couple of those pics. That must be a very cool place to work.
