Moderators dtel's wife Posted August 10, 2006 Moderators Share Posted August 10, 2006 Nat King Cole is one of my favorites. After his death, his daughter, Natalie, re-recorded "Unforgettable" with her dad's voice (dubbed in) as a duet. IMO, it is a beautiful song. garymd
For some reason, Nat King Cole records, even originals, are plentiful and cheap. I could go to my local thrift shop today and leave with 5 or more originals in NM condition. I have a couple at home but usually pass at the thrift shops. One that will always stay in my collection is his Christmas album. He had some voice!
kaiser SET say
Yes he did and Christy, I don't know if you have ever caught the video of that duet but it is also very special the way they blended Nat into the production[] Gary, thanks again for the I Robot and Cat as I'm loving them[]

Gary, I bought the Capitol 4 CD set (100 songs) a few years back because, unlike you, I find so few of his LPs in good condition. I started into the set while working late last night, and posted in "Right this minute" thread. It's easy to forget how many songs he recorded. Klipsch out.
