Timmikid
Ha, saw this thread a couple of days ago and I thought well, I'll watch it later. Now I did and... wow. Meditative. I guess most are speachless as I am the first to respond. Very spiritual. If more people got into this music (and some other) there would be less war I'm sure. (Another thing I recommend is a purring cat on each general's/leader's lap, if they're not allergic ofcourse). Strange how a peace of music can stirr up these naive thoughts. God bless the child. edit: I can't have seen this thread a couple of days ago, as I just noticed Allan has just posted it. Must have missed no. 5 then. Must go there now, bye. Chris Robinson
That is really far out ... Really ... The flips from the high notes to the really low scrapes is just awesome. The control he has tonally is amazing. I'm not normally into sax but I've got to listen to this man some more...
Allan Songer
No player ever practiced longer or harder than Eric Dolphy--it's the stuff of legend. And to think a guy who didn't drink, smoke or do drugs eneded up dead from untreated diabetes at 36 . . . You can never have enough Eric Dolphy around the house!!!
