gaspr
Check out this review http://6moons.com/audioreviews/redwine4/30.html Sounds like Vinnie Rossi may have a winner here. Anybody heard one of these yet? Garth

steve
I got a link to this site yesterday from kev313..sure looks promising. I emailed Vinnie, and he said he's backed up on orders..a few weeks waiting period. On a good note, there's a 30 day money back guarantee if it's not what you want. I considered getting on the list, but had to rethink it for now. Just got done rehabbing the house, and I don't know if I want to spend the money just yet.. But again, I am interested! So if any of you other members get one, or hear one..please post! Steve
spwal
Dude, by max's Clari-T dual Mono on audiogon. get it before its gone. at 675 its a great deal. I think it is identical to the sig 30 w/o the volume control. you can call vinny to confirm. i already told max that if i didnt have so much inventory in my house, i would buy those in a heartbeat. I have a red wine audio Squeezebox 2 that i will NEVER sell. I cannot wait to get a vinny batttery amp at some point in the near future. gaspr
Just a few quotes from Srajan Ebaen's review of the Signature 30 In comparison to the Redwine Audio Clari-T "it leapfrogs into a completely different class of performance" "One specific application where the Signature 30 would shine like no tomorrow is ultra sesitive hornspeakers" "This is one of the three best transistor amplifiers I've heard yet" Intriguing.... Colin
my Clari T is one of the best mid and treble range s-s amps I have ever heard for the money!
spwal
please re-read max's ad. this is a DUAL mono, DUAL battery. Plus premium parts. isnt that essentially what a sig 30 is? I am not sure if max is getting a new one. I have talked to him over the last month or so. I have been puzzled why this maxed out clari-t hasnt sold. at this lower price i dont expect it to last long.
bdbaba
I am not so sure they are the same. The new one is supposed to put out 30 watts. I don't think that the original versions--even the dual mono-- would do that. Am I wrong on that?
Daddy Dee
Garth, I was looking at your signature and notice the Merlin pre and Crown D-75. Are you running the Merlin in front of the Crown or running the crown as an integrated amp? What do you think of the sound?
gaspr
Hello Daddy Dee Yes, I am using the Merlin in front of the D75. It is probably not the best match impedance wise and this is why the bass lacks a little oomph, but it is a very quiet and low distortion combo. Sounds good to my old ears but I really haven't done a lot of comparisons. Sure beats my old SS Hitachi integrated (now retired)[] Garth
Daddy Dee
Garth, Thanks for your take on that.
