bradhutton
Would the correct Center Channel for the Epic CF-3 and Epic CF-4's be the KV-4? And if so, what would the correct Surround Speakers be? Thanks... BH
johnny24c
I am using the IW100's and they seem to work well for me... Klipsch mentions the cf4 as a match on there site, but not when you look up the CF4. but under the IW100 in the classic section... Of course ,not everyone wants to cut holes in there walls. T2K
Brad,I know nothing about the Epics other than limited in store listening but if given one guess I would say RS-3's. Keith
aab3rd
Brad, I have a pair of CF-1s that I love which are not in my home theater room now. I use KLF-20s, but I really like the CF-1, especially for music. Anyhoo, The correct center is the KV-4(which I would like to have too) but they are hard to find. A KLF-C7 will work fine IMHO. As for surrounds I would probably go with the Rs-7s over the Rs-3s because of the lower bass response and higher sensitivity. RS3s 57hz RS-7s 49hz RS3s 95dB/1wt/meter RS-7s 98dB/1wt/meter CF-3 35hz CF-4 34hz CF-3 100dB/1wt/meter CF-4 102/1wt/meter Other surrounds would be a pair of used KSP-S6s which would work OK IMHO. These are no longer made but they come up on e-bay at times. I am thinking about moving my CF-1s into my home theater room so let me/us know what you end up with and how it sounds. aab
reads
I have cf-3's and use academy's as the rear surrounds and a kv-3 as the center.
